What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking motivated, compassionate professionals to support youth rehabilitation and public safety in residential treatment and detention settings. This is an entry-level, sworn peace officer role focused on supervision, coaching, and casework.

• Supervise and mentor youth in residential/detention environments
• Provide casework, behavioral coaching, and life-skills development
• Maintain safety, structure, and consistent daily programming
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (treatment staff, social workers, education providers)
• Serve as a sworn Peace Officer under California Penal Code 830.5
• Participate in required training and professional development

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• No felony convictions (candidates will undergo a comprehensive background check)
• Valid California driver’s license
• Ability to meet Peace Officer standards and pass background, medical, and psychological screenings

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $65,430–$83,516 per year (Confidential Client — County pay scale)
