What You’ll Do

• Work on entry-level software development or data projects under senior supervision
• Build and maintain REST APIs and backend features using Java and Spring ecosystem
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and basic analysis tasks using SQL and Python or similar tools
• Participate in code reviews, write unit tests, and use Git for source control
• Help prepare data for model training or reporting; assist senior data scientists or analysts as needed
• Troubleshoot bugs and contribute to documentation and deployment tasks

Minimum Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related field, OR equivalent practical experience
• Basic knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming
• Familiarity with Spring / Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases (SQL)
• Version control experience (Git)
• Demonstrable project or coursework examples (school projects, internships, personal projects)
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn on the job
• Authorization to work in the US

• Exposure to data science concepts, Python, pandas, or ML libraries
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) or CI/CD basics

Compensation & Employment Type

• Base salary range: $82,000 - $136,000 per year (range provided by Confidential Client)
• Employment type: Contract OR Full-time (depending on the specific opening)
• Compensation may vary by role, location, and candidate experience

• Atlanta, GA — on-site or client-facing roles in the Atlanta area. Candidates must be able to work in the Atlanta metropolitan area as required by the placement.
