What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring candidates for an Entry Level Data Engineer cohort through the Dev10 program. This role combines immersive, paid training with hands-on client work to launch your career in data engineering.

  • Participate in a 3–4 month, instructor-led technical training program (paid).
  • Learn and apply Relational and Non-Relational databases, Python, Pandas, SQL, APIs, Snowflake, Docker, Airflow, and Apache Spark.
  • Build and maintain ETL/data pipelines and data transformations for analytics and operational systems.
  • Write clean, testable Python code and SQL queries; preprocess and transform data for downstream use.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, participate in code reviews, and follow Agile delivery practices.
  • Apply introductory machine learning concepts where appropriate to improve data products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).
  • Programming experience of 6+ months (academic coursework, personal projects, or professional work). You must have actively programmed within the last 3 months.
  • Plus one of the following (must be clearly listed on your resume):
    • A recent STEM degree (Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related), OR
    • 12+ months of professional work experience in finance, healthcare, banking, insurance, hospitality, aviation, or technology, with no more than a 12-month gap since your last professional role.
  • Willingness to relocate anywhere in the continental United States.
  • Note: Confidential Client cannot provide or support employment visa or work authorization paperwork (including OPT, CPT, H‑1B, or TN). Exceptions: Asylees, Refugees, and TPS.

Preferred Skills

  • Python (data scripting, libraries such as Pandas)
  • SQL and relational database experience
  • Exposure to Snowflake, Docker, Airflow, or Apache Spark
  • Familiarity with APIs, Excel, and basic machine learning concepts
  • Strong logic/reasoning, clear communication, and a team-oriented mindset
  • Passion for learning and a strong interest in Data Engineering

What We Offer

  • Paid training during the immersive program: $600/week (3–4 months)
  • Hourly pay after placement: $24.04–$28.85 depending on assigned location (approx. $50k–$60k annually)
  • $2,500 relocation assistance
  • Two years of client project experience under mentorship
  • Mentorship and instruction from senior engineers and a Dev10 manager to support career growth
  • Comprehensive benefits: health, vision, dental, 401(k), and paid time off
  • Cohort start: November 2026

Location & Relocation

  • Authoritative job location: Lauderdale, MN (Lauderdale, Minnesota).
  • This role requires willingness to relocate anywhere in the continental United States. Candidates should be prepared to move for assignment placement.
