Entry-Level Data Analyst
The Entry-Level Data Analyst at Confidential Client is responsible for collecting, organizing, and analyzing business data to generate reports and dashboards. What You’ll Do
This role is a hands-on, entry-level data analyst position supporting business users and senior analysts. You will collect and prepare data, build reports and dashboards, and help surface insights that inform decisions across the business.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
- Clean, validate, and maintain datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for stakeholders
- Write basic to intermediate SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data
- Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights and communicate findings clearly
- Perform data quality checks and resolve inconsistencies
- Document processes, analyses, and results for reproducibility
- Support senior analysts and teams with ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 0–2 years of experience in data analysis or a related role (internships or coursework count)
- Basic knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas)
- Familiarity with data visualization concepts and tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills — able to explain analysis to non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn and grow
Nice-to-Have / Preferred
- Coursework or projects using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Experience with data cleaning and ETL basics (Python, R, or similar is a plus)
- Exposure to business reporting or KPI development
Compensation & Employment Type
- Estimated base pay: $50,471 per year (estimated)
- Employment type: Full-time
