What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Data Analyst to join a fast-growing consumer healthcare technology team in Austin, TX. This role is for recent graduates (Grad Dates: May 2026 – December 2026) who want hands-on experience applying analytics, basic predictive modeling, and experimentation to subscription-based product metrics.
- Conduct advanced analytics on customer behavior, LTV, retention, and subscription health
- Build and maintain basic predictive models (e.g., regression, random forests) for churn and inventory forecasting
- Design and analyze A/B tests to inform product and marketing decisions
- Create self-service dashboards (Looker/Tableau) and executive summaries for non-technical stakeholders
- Partner with Data Engineering to maintain data integrity in Snowflake/BigQuery
- Translate statistical results into clear, actionable recommendations that drive product and marketing improvements
Responsibilities
- Move beyond descriptive reporting to perform deep-dive analyses into acquisition, retention, and monetization metrics
- Develop reproducible analyses and lightweight ML models to forecast KPIs like churn and LTV
- Design experiments and run statistical tests to evaluate features and funnel changes
- Build and maintain dashboards and data workflows so teams can self-serve answers
- Document analyses, assumptions, and model performance for cross-functional audiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in a quantitative field (Statistics, Data Analytics, CS, Economics, Mathematics); Master’s preferred
- Recent-graduate eligibility: Grad Dates May 2026 – Dec 2026
- Strong SQL skills for querying and cleaning large datasets
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy); experience with Scikit-learn for basic modeling
- Solid foundation in statistics (hypothesis testing, regression, experiment design)
- Experience with BI/visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query) for ad-hoc analysis
- Bonus: familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Snowflake/BigQuery, HIPAA awareness, or telemedicine/pharmacy domain knowledge
