This opportunity is for an Entry Level Customer Training Specialist (traveling) supporting a Confidential Client that provides automotive software and IT services. The Entry Level Customer Training Specialist role is travel-heavy and focused on on-site software implementation, configuration, and end-user training for automotive dealership customers. This role blends customer-facing training, technical configuration, and remote follow-up support.
What You’ll Do
- Travel to customer locations approximately 80% of the time to install, configure, and convert dealership software systems.
- Lead presentations and hands-on training sessions for dealership staff and management.
- Gather requirements from dealership leadership and tailor system configurations and training plans accordingly.
- Deliver clear, professional communication to customers during implementation and follow-up phases.
- Provide remote support from a home office between customer visits: prepare trip materials, complete documentation, and perform follow-ups with recently installed customers.
- Work independently and as part of a team on larger installations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Outgoing, customer-focused personality with a professional on-site presence.
- Comfortable with frequent travel (approximately 80%).
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Driving record: fewer than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and no OVI/DUI/DWI in the last 5 years.
- Reliable home internet with sufficient bandwidth for video conferencing.
- Ability to lift and move moderate equipment when required for on-site installs (if applicable).
- Willingness to work flexible hours when customer schedules require.
Travel & Logistics
- Approximately 80% travel, including overnight stays and weekday travel to customer sites.
- Work is a mix of on-site customer visits and remote/home-office support.
- Must be authorized to drive in the U.S. and maintain required travel documentation.
- The role is TELECOMMUTE-eligible for remote work between on-site assignments.

- Estimated total compensation (per job source): $85,116 per year (estimated).
