Role Summary
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Credit Analyst to join a commercial lending team in Waukesha, WI. This full-time, on-site role supports commercial credit underwriting and portfolio monitoring by analyzing financial statements, preparing credit presentations, and helping identify and mitigate credit risk. Target compensation is up to $55,000 per year plus a full benefits package.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare thorough credit analyses for new, renewal, and extension commercial loan requests to support lending decisions.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, margins, trends, management quality, market position, and collateral.
- Prepare loan presentations and financial projections for the commercial loan committee.
- Assist lenders with structuring credit proposals and recommend appropriate terms.
- Grade new and existing loans and maintain accurate credit files and exception lists.
- Perform stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate repayment capacity.
- Present findings in concise written reports and participate in loan committee discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent related experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals and financial statement analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; ability to prepare basic financial models and projections.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce clear credit memos and present to stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a deadline-driven environment.
- This is an on-site role in Waukesha, WI. Relocation assistance is at the discretion of the Confidential Client.
