Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Commissioning, Qualification & Validation (CQV) Engineering Professional to join a Life Sciences engineering team supporting GMP facilities. This is a full-time, entry-level engineering role based in Uptown, IN. The role includes mentorship, hands-on CQV work on client sites, and opportunities to develop technical documentation and field verification skills.


What You’ll Do

  • Support commissioning, qualification, and validation activities for GMP manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop and execute CQV protocols and reports using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Inspect and verify facility and equipment drawings (P&IDs, AF&IDs) in the field.
  • Prepare Construction Turnover Packages, SOPs, and process workflows.
  • Investigate and help resolve protocol exceptions and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and follow recognized codes, standards, and customer requirements.
  • Travel to client sites as required and work on multiple projects under mentorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • 3.0 GPA or higher (as indicated in source posting).
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Project is a plus).
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, and comfortable working in field and client-site environments.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

  • Local to Uptown, IN (or willing to relocate).
  • Coursework or internship experience related to validation, process engineering, or GxP environments.
  • Familiarity with GMP concepts and life-sciences project workflows.
  • Willingness to travel and adapt to various client locations.

Compensation & Location

  • Estimated annual pay (from source): $59,849 per year (estimated).
  • Location: Uptown, IN — on-site / client-site work expected; travel required as projects demand.
  • Employment type: Full-time.
