Entry Level Compliance Technician
The Entry Level Compliance Technician conducts routine LDAR and SPCC inspections at industrial facilities, prepares reports, updates facility schematics, and assists with client and team communications. What You’ll Do
This role supports environmental compliance field work across industrial sites in the Southeast. You'll perform routine inspections, prepare client-facing reports, update facility drawings, and support team communications and special projects.
- Conduct routine OVA and Method 21 LDAR inspections at industrial facilities
- Conduct SPCC inspections and inventories
- Collect samples (stormwater) as assigned
- Prepare clear, professional reports using MS Word and Excel; create presentations in PowerPoint; update schematics in Visio
- Assist in peer review and quality checks with other team members
- Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams
- Attend and apply safety training; follow site-specific safety requirements
- Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and ensure compliance for assigned projects
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working on-site across a range of industrial environments.
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree in environmental science preferred
- Previous LDAR experience and experience with LDAR databases preferred
- Testing or auditing experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Visio; familiarity with Adobe products a plus
- Valid driver’s license; may require the ability to obtain a TWIC credential for some sites
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional appearance and client-facing demeanor
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and in teams, and follow safety procedures in industrial settings
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Work is primarily performed at client industrial sites and in office settings. Tasks may involve exposure to industrial conditions and require physical activity.
- Travel to client sites across Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and surrounding areas; may include overnight travel
- Role may require climbing, walking, standing, lifting up to 30 lbs, crouching, kneeling, and working at heights
- Ability to use common office equipment and digital tools; regular phone and email communication required
- Must follow all safety requirements and site-specific protocols
Travel
Travel varies by assignment and may be up to ~50% of the time. Some weekend or extended travel may be required depending on project needs.
