Role & Responsibilities
This entry-level Communications Specialist role with a confidential client in PR, advertising & marketing is ideal for recent graduates or professionals beginning their communications career. You will help craft clear, engaging messages across channels and support PR and social initiatives.
- Develop and draft clear, concise, and engaging content for internal and external communications, including press releases, newsletters, social media posts, and company announcements.
- Assist in managing social media platforms: create, schedule, and monitor content that aligns with messaging and marketing objectives.
- Support planning and execution of public relations campaigns and events to increase visibility.
- Monitor media coverage, compile reports, and summarize insights to inform senior leadership and improve communications strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong command of grammar and style.
- Basic familiarity with social media platforms and content management/publishing tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team and follow guidance from senior staff.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
