What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Civil/Environmental Engineer to support water and wastewater projects. In this role you will work on planning, design, and construction-support activities across municipal and utility clients.

  • Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
  • Work on engineering planning and design projects
  • Develop plans and specifications and prepare technical memoranda and reports
  • Prepare cost estimates for water and wastewater projects
  • System modeling and hydraulic analysis for water and sewer systems
  • Support permitting, alternatives analysis, and regulatory documentation
  • Provide engineering services during construction and participate in field activities (e.g., pilot testing)
  • Data entry, data analysis, and preparation of electronic deliverables
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with clients and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

Minimum required qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • 0–4 years of directly relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification (or actively pursuing)
  • Coursework or knowledge in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water/wastewater treatment and infrastructure design
  • Application of engineering principles including critical thinking and analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment; motivated and self-starting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS and AutoCAD
  • Experience with water/sewer hydraulic calculation and modeling software (e.g., WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated annual pay: $100,808 per year (estimated). An employee’s pay within the range will be based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and organizational needs.
