About the Role
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to join a growing, multidisciplinary civil engineering team serving projects across Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate or an early-career engineer who wants hands-on experience with site design, stormwater management, utility design, permitting, and construction document preparation.
- Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
- Employment type: Full-time
- Location: Stevens Point, WI
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with site design and grading plans, stormwater management and drainage design
- Support utility layout and coordination (sanitary, storm, water)
- Prepare construction documents, plans, and specifications
- Help with permitting and regulatory submissions
- Support field surveys and coordinate with survey crews and CADD technicians
- Participate in project meetings and assist with client communication
- Perform calculations, technical drafting (AutoCAD), and quality checks
- Learn and adhere to project schedules and deliverables
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 0–5 years of relevant civil engineering experience (recent graduates welcome)
- Experience with AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience is a plus)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities, and work collaboratively
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Exposure to WisDOT construction projects or familiarity with state DOT procedures
- Experience with stormwater design tools or hydrologic/hydraulic modeling
- Prior internship or co-op experience in site development, municipal, or transportation projects
