Overview & Hiring Event

Confidential Client is hosting an invitation-only hiring event in Raleigh on October 28–29, 2026 for early-career opportunities in remediation engineering. This posting is for an Entry-Level Civil Engineer — Remediation (hybrid) role based in Raleigh, NC. The position offers a competitive salary range of $68,000–$82,000 per year.


What You’ll Do

Confidential Client’s Remediation business line provides engineering design, construction-phase services, and technical support across public- and private-sector projects. As an Entry-Level Civil Engineer you will:

  • Build analytic and design skills on remediation and environmental engineering projects
  • Conduct engineering design and calculations under the supervision of an experienced engineer
  • Create sketches, schematic drawings, and final working drawings following project standards
  • Collect and analyze field and laboratory data to support design and remediation decisions
  • Use engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar) to solve engineering problems
  • Perform work to meet agreed budgets and schedules while following safety and quality procedures
  • Communicate effectively with project teams, site staff, and clients

Event Details

  • Networking mixer: Wednesday evening, Oct 28 — 6:00–8:00 PM
  • Interviews: Thursday, Oct 29 — on-site at Confidential Client’s Raleigh office
  • Target start: Spring/Summer 2027
  • Note: Attendance at the in-person hiring event is required for interview consideration (invitation-only).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license (employment contingent on Motor Vehicle Records review)
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (sponsorship not offered)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Previous internship or co-op experience in civil/environmental/remediation engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or related engineering software
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Compensation & Employment Type

  • Salary: USD 68,000 – USD 82,000 per year
  • Employment type: Full-time; contract opportunities may also apply depending on assignment
  • Work model: Hybrid (Raleigh, NC) — specific onsite expectations will be shared during hiring
