What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Civil Engineer based in Latham, NY. This is an early-career engineering role in transportation where you will learn core design and analysis skills while supporting project teams.
- Build analytic and design skills under supervision
- Conduct engineering design tasks and produce calculations and sketches under the guidance of an experienced engineer
- Create schematic and working drawings using CAD tools and design software under supervision
- Collect, process, and analyze project data to support design decisions
- Use engineering software to solve basic engineering problems and prepare deliverables that meet project budget and schedule requirements
- Participate in team meetings, site visits, and client coordination as needed
What We’re Looking For
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
- Ability to work in person in Latham, NY as part of a hybrid schedule
Preferred qualifications
- Degree focus in Transportation or related coursework in transportation engineering
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification preferred
- Internship or co-op experience in a transportation or civil engineering discipline

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: USD 80,000 – 90,000 per year (range provided by client)
