Position Summary

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry‑Level Civil Engineer to join their transportation practice supporting projects in Conestee, SC (Greenville area). This early-career role provides hands‑on technical design experience, mentorship through a graduate development program, and exposure to multimodal transportation projects. The position is full‑time and reports to senior engineers in the regional office.

What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for a motivated engineer to contribute to planning, design, and delivery of transportation and site development projects. Typical responsibilities include:

• Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and basic engineering analyses
• Use engineering software as a tool to solve design problems and produce plans
• Create sketches, preliminary and final drawings, calculations, and cost estimates under supervision
• Support design of utilities, roadways, grading and drainage, erosion control, typical sections, profiles, and cross sections
• Prepare drawings, specifications, basis of design documentation, and technical memos
• Perform work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule and follow established QA/QC processes
• Collaborate with multi‑discipline project teams through design and construction phases

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle records review as a condition of employment
• EIT certification or ability to obtain EIT within 12 months of hire

Preferred skills and experience:

• Proficiency creating models and plansheets using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience or coursework in roadway design and general site development
• Ability to prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates
• Familiarity with preparing technical specifications for contractors
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: USD 70,000 – USD 80,000 per year (offered rate will be based on education, qualifications, and experience)
• Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage, paid time off, retirement savings plan, and other voluntary benefits (actual benefits depend on employment status)
• This position does not provide relocation or sponsorship assistance
