What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry‑level Civil Engineer to join their Engineering team in Charlotte, NC (hybrid). Typical responsibilities include:
- Build analytic and design skills under mentorship.
- Conduct engineering design tasks under the supervision of experienced engineers.
- Produce designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings with guidance.
- Collect and analyze site and project data.
- Use engineering software to support design and analysis tasks.
- Complete assigned work within agreed budgets and schedules.
- Support Senior Engineers and Project Managers on project deliverables.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Preferred
- Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering or related discipline.
- Experience or familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Working knowledge of Bluebeam, Adobe, and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Location, Compensation & Work Model
- Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid work model).
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Expected start window: Winter 2026 to Spring 2027.
- Salary range: USD 70,000 — USD 85,000 per year (actual offer will be based on education, experience, and location).
- Relocation assistance: not available for this position.
- Sponsorship: Confidential Client is not able to sponsor U.S. employment authorization for this role now or in the future.
- Note: All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at a local office as a condition of employment.
