What You’ll Do

You will join a civil design team working on both private development and municipal infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on, design-focused role that provides growth and mentorship.

• Perform civil design tasks for roadway geometrics, grading, and drainage systems
• Prepare engineering plans, drawings, and technical documents using AutoCAD
• Assist with site design, utility layouts, and stormwater management plans
• Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, clients, municipalities, and permitting agencies
• Support design QA/QC and incorporate feedback from reviewers and inspectors
• Visit project sites as-needed for field verification and construction coordination

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification
• Minimum ~1 year experience in civil design (site development, grading, drainage)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Solid understanding of roadway design, grading, and drainage fundamentals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate with agencies

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience or exposure to Civil 3D (training can be provided)
• Familiarity with stormwater management design and permitting processes
• Interest in public-sector and municipal infrastructure projects
• Willingness to pursue additional certifications and technical training

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year (range reported by our client)
  • Final offer will depend on qualifications, experience, location, and other factors
