What You’ll Do
- Perform defined portions of larger civil design assignments under close supervision of licensed engineers or senior designers.
- Build hands-on proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D through mentored, project-based work.
- Complete CADD drafting tasks and coordinate with CADD and engineering technicians on land-development projects.
- Assist in preparing construction plans, specifications, reports, studies, cost estimates, and permit applications following company and industry standards.
- Perform basic computations and analyses; collect, organize, and maintain project documentation.
- Observe site construction activities to connect design work with field execution.
- Receive close, on-the-job mentoring from licensed civil engineers to advance technical skills and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an ABET/EAC-accredited program.
- EIT/EI certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD; exposure to Civil 3D preferred.
- Basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while following prescribed methods and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine drive to learn from experienced mentors.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available for this position.

Schedule
- On-site: Monday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.
