What You’ll Do

This entry-level chemist role supports manufacturing, quality control, and customer technical service in a regulated chemical production environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Manufacture batch chemical solutions by following production documentation and accurately recording production data.
  • Perform QC measurements (typically wet chemistry methods) on manufactured and finished chemical products.
  • Provide technical support for customers by phone, email, and written documentation.
  • Work within an established ISO 9001 quality system and comply with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, GHS, DOT, EPA).
  • Generate or approve job-related paperwork, QC documentation, and product labels.
  • Guide and collaborate with production and packaging technicians to ensure product quality.
  • Participate in process-improvement discussions with management focused on quality and efficiency.
  • Perform all assignments in a safe, compliant, and cautious manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related discipline is required.
  • Analytical chemistry experience is a plus but not required for entry-level candidates.
  • Comfortable working in both production and laboratory settings with exposure to chemical processes.

Required Skills & Physical Requirements

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.
  • Familiarity and comfort using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators when required.
  • Physical tasks may include sitting, standing, pushing/pulling, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail, basic verbal and numerical skills, and good hand-eye coordination.
