What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry-Level Buyer to support supply chain and procurement activities. This role focuses on purchase order management, supplier communication, and supporting contract and supplier performance efforts.
- Create, manage, and follow up on purchase orders
- Communicate forecasts, demand, and delivery requirements to suppliers
- Monitor supplier performance for quality, cost, and on-time delivery
- Build and maintain effective supplier relationships
- Support contract preparation, negotiations, and execution
- Identify supplier/material risks and coordinate cross-functional solutions
- Resolve supplier issues with urgency and professionalism
- Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Planning, and other internal teams
- Support continuous improvement and business objectives
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal partners
- Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize competing demands
- Experience with ERP software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Fluent business English, written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supply chain experience or internship
- Supply chain certifications (APICS, IIPMR, ISCEA, ISM, etc.)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
- Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification
Compensation & Benefits
Summary pay range: $77,264 — $115,896 per year (reported by Confidential Client). Compensation may vary based on experience, job level, location, and other factors.
