Role overview

Join a rotational Business Development Program supporting wholesale distribution at a confidential client. This entry-level Business Development Representative (BDR) role is designed to train recent graduates and early-career sellers in prospecting, qualifying B2B leads, data-driven territory development, and supporting account growth. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Trevor, WI.

What you’ll do

  • Complete a structured rotational training program across sales and operations in wholesale distribution
  • Support business development managers with outbound prospecting and lead qualification
  • Analyze customer data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Assist in preparing proposals, pricing, and sales presentations for prospective clients
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships focused on service and retention
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time order fulfillment
  • Track and report key performance metrics using CRM and sales tools
  • Participate in ride-alongs, customer visits, and product training sessions
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects that enhance sales efficiency
  • Meet defined performance goals and development milestones within the program

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Sales or business internships preferred; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
  • Strong interest in B2B sales, wholesale distribution, and consultative selling
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) is a plus
  • Proficiency with Excel and comfort working with data and reports
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel locally for customer visits and ride-alongs as required
