What You’ll Do
Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring an Entry-Level Business Analyst to support business operations and data-driven decision-making in the IT industry. This is a full-time, entry-level role based in Texas City, TX.
- Gather and document business requirements for small projects and feature requests
- Support process-improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency
- Assist with routine reporting, data analysis, and dashboard updates
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to translate needs into actionable tasks
- Maintain project documentation and track progress against timelines
- Learn and apply business analysis tools and industry best practices
- Support day-to-day business operations and ad-hoc data requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships and co-ops welcome)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of business processes and requirements gathering
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable learning new tools and working with cross-functional teams
Compensation & Location
- Location: Texas City, TX
- Estimated salary: $67,601 per year (estimated by source)
