What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Business Analyst to support a large Medicaid Enterprise Systems program. This is an entry-level, client-facing role that supports business analysis, documentation, and PMO activities. The role requires a hybrid schedule with ~50% onsite work in Ny State Campus, NY.
- Support experienced business analysts and QA/test teams with requirements, documentation, and test artifacts
- Attend business/functional meetings and serve as meeting scribe
- Maintain and support SharePoint sites and related collaboration tools
- Assist the PMO with document management (development, distribution, archival)
- Help develop business, technical, and data requirements, including data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts
- Research and respond to business user questions
- Review and analyze business user needs and draft requirements documentation
- Participate in reviewing, revising, or creating process documentation
- Review vendor deliverables, design documents, and integration test results
- Support evaluation of Disaster Recovery (DR) testing and Service Desk/Call Center ticket trends
- Monitor vendor progress on system change requests and prepare materials for state business user reviews
- Interface with client stakeholders and solution vendors, and help build appropriate client relationships
- Perform other duties as assigned by program/project leadership
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in IT business or technical analysis, testing, project management, or Quality Assurance
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or actively pursuing) in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with approximately 50% onsite work in Ny State Campus, NY
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience maintaining SharePoint sites or similar collaboration platforms
- Any current business or technical certification
- Experience in healthcare or Medicaid systems environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range (visible): $64,008 — $88,900 per year (range reflects target compensation across US locations; actual pay depends on factors such as experience and work location)
