What You’ll Do
We are hiring an entry-level Business Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams to help define, test, and deliver software features that drive customer value.
- Define business analysis requirements and configuration specifications for product features.
- Assist with quality assurance and testing activities (test case review, defect reporting, validation).
- Define reporting and alerting requirements to support business processes and monitoring.
- Gather, analyze, and visualize data to produce actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and internal stakeholders to support system integrations.
- Document system processes, workflows, and configuration changes.
- Triage common technical issues and recommend solutions to product and engineering teams.
- Communicate findings, status, and data-driven recommendations clearly to non-technical and technical audiences.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve system monitoring, operations, and customer outcomes.

Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and basic testing.
- Basic SQL skills for querying and analyzing data.
- Experience creating business insights using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) is preferred.
- Experience or coursework in process and systems documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in an IT/product environment.

Nice to Have
- Prior internship or experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Quality Assurance.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows and user story creation.

- Basic understanding of APIs and system integration concepts.
Compensation & Location
- Estimated salary: $82,585 per year (estimated).
- Location: Five Corners, NJ (Jersey City area) — on-site or as noted in the posting.
