What You’ll Do

As an Entry Level Business Analyst you will work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable requirements and help deliver high-quality, data-informed solutions.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the client’s industry, organization, customers, and business objectives
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and teammates by asking thoughtful questions and actively listening
  • Analyze business processes, user requirements, and data to identify insights, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
  • Use foundational data skills (SQL basics, data exploration, statistical literacy) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to support analysis
  • Convert business needs into functional requirements, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and test support materials
  • Communicate findings clearly, translating technical concepts for cross-functional audiences
  • Leverage modern and AI-enabled workplace tools to organize information, summarize findings, draft documentation, and streamline analysis
  • Apply responsible AI practices, considering privacy, security, data quality, transparency, and appropriate human oversight
  • Support testing, usability reviews, documentation, training materials, and client deliverables across the project lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future employer sponsorship (some roles may require U.S. Citizenship or the ability to obtain/maintain government security clearance)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with fast-paced, cross-functional teams
  • Curiosity, professionalism, and a strong desire for continuous learning
  • Interest in learning and responsibly using AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, and modern productivity technologies
  • Preferred (but not required): exposure to public sector clients, business analysis coursework or internships, cloud technologies, ERPs/CRMs, or software development projects

Location & Work Mode

  • Location: Austin, TX (hybrid working mode)
  • Fall application window: August 24, 2026 – November 6, 2026
  • This role is based in Austin; local candidates or those willing to work hybrid in Austin will be prioritized

Compensation & Employment Type

  • Employment type: Full-time (permanent)
  • Estimated salary range: $46,400 - $85,100 (provided by our client; actual compensation depends on experience, skills, and other factors)
  • All offers are contingent on successful completion of any required background checks and clearances for the assignment
