What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level Behavioral Health Counselor to support patients in recovery from substance use, eating disorders, and other behavioral health challenges. This is an evening-shift role (Tuesday–Saturday) with full-time and per-diem opportunities.

• Conduct group and/or family sessions under supervision and document as required
• Co-facilitate groups and support behavior modification strategies
• Assist with initial and follow-up patient assessments
• Help prepare and support individualized treatment plans
• Maintain timely, clear patient documentation of care, treatment and incidents
• Provide crisis intervention and aftercare planning as needed
• Act as a liaison with referral sources and, when requested, with insurance carriers
• Deliver case-management-style support to ensure individualized, quality care
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, professional attitude; escalate and help resolve patient concerns

Schedule & Compensation

• Evening shift: Tuesday–Saturday (full-time night position)
• Per-diem opportunities available
• Pay range: $25 - $26 per hour
• $500 sign-on bonus for full-time night hires (as stated by the employer)
• Must be 21 or older for insurance purposes

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in social or health services preferred
• Counseling field instruction, internship, or similar practicum experience required
• Licensure or certification for counseling as required by the state where the facility operates, or eligibility to obtain state licensure/certification within the timeframe designated by the facility
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire)
• Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record
• Strong written documentation skills and ability to work in a team-based, clinical setting
