Primary Responsibilities
Confidential Client is seeking an Entry‑Level Aviation Engineer to join their aviation team in Cody, WY. You will support airport and aviation civil engineering projects under the direction of project managers and senior engineers.
- Assist with client communication and project coordination for aviation civil engineering engagements
- Help develop construction cost estimates for airport and related civil projects
- Support design tasks and preparation of drawings (AutoCAD Civil 3D experience preferred)
- Provide technical information for specifications and reports
- Research and evaluate design alternatives and present findings to lead engineers
- Serve as onsite project representative when required; conduct construction inspection and oversight
- Keep project managers informed of workload, schedule changes, and scope adjustments
- Perform other project-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- EI/EIT certification required or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire
- 0–3 years of relevant experience preferred (airport consulting/engineering experience a plus)
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and able to work on challenging projects in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to travel locally, particularly during the construction season
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary: $87,103 per year (estimated)
- Full‑time, permanent position
