What You’ll Do

This entry-level role supports airport and aviation civil engineering projects under the direction of project engineers and project managers. You’ll gain hands-on experience across design, construction support, and client communication while working with a collaborative team.

• Assist with client communication for aviation civil engineering assignments
• Support development of construction cost estimates and scope documentation
• Contribute to design tasks and preparation of engineering drawings
• Provide input and data for specifications and design reports
• Research design options and present recommendations to project staff
• Serve as onsite project representative and perform construction inspection/oversight as required
• Keep project managers informed of workload, schedule changes, and potential scope additions
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project delivery

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
• EI/EIT certificate required or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire
• 0–3 years’ experience in airport consulting/engineering preferred (open to new grads)
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, team-oriented mindset with ability to adapt on challenging projects
• Willingness to travel locally, especially during construction season

• Estimated base: $62,312 per year (estimated)
