What You’ll Do

This entry-level Audit Associate role provides hands-on audit experience across the full audit lifecycle, direct client exposure, and structured CPA support. You will work with experienced professionals to perform audit engagements and contribute to high-quality financial reporting and compliance services.

  • Assist in planning and executing audit engagements in accordance with professional standards
  • Perform substantive testing, walkthroughs, and internal control evaluations
  • Prepare clear, professional audit workpapers and documentation that meet firm standards
  • Analyze financial records and supporting documentation to identify risks and anomalies
  • Help prepare financial statements, management letters, and other engagement deliverables
  • Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve audit questions
  • Support GAAP/GAAS application and participate in risk assessment and compliance procedures
  • Participate in training and continuing education; apply new standards and methodologies on engagements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field required
  • CPA-eligible or actively pursuing CPA certification strongly preferred
  • 0–3 years of public accounting, audit, or related accounting experience (internship experience is valued)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting concepts, and interest in audit methodology (GAAP & GAAS)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail in documentation and testing
  • Comfortable interacting with clients and working collaboratively on engagement teams
  • Governmental audit experience is a plus
  • Motivated to build a long-term career in public accounting

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $65,000–$80,000 per year, plus annual performance bonus opportunity
