What You’ll Do

  • Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, parenterals, devices, aerosols, liquids, creams, gels)
  • Operate and troubleshoot chromatographic and other analytical systems (HPLC, GC, UV, etc.) and run instrumentation independently
  • Prepare standards, reagents, and samples for analysis; execute method transfers and validations
  • Document work accurately to meet GMP and quality requirements; maintain laboratory notebooks and electronic records
  • Perform routine monthly maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Support process setup and validation of new analytical methods and related departmental processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve analytical issues and improve workflows

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline, or equivalent directly-related experience
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Experience or coursework with chromatography (HPLC/GC) and lab instrumentation is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; self-motivated and adaptable
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Details & Benefits

  • Employment type: Full-time, on-site
  • Typical schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Monday–Friday; overtime as needed
  • Location: Bausman, PA — candidates within commutable distance (Lancaster area) preferred
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life & disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays
  • Compensation: Estimated $58,031 per year (estimated figure sourced from original posting)
