Compensation (estimated)
Confidential Client estimates pay at approximately $51,328 per year (estimated). Exact pay, benefits, and final offer details will be set by the Confidential Client.
Essential Functions
As a member of the Confidential Client’s intraoperative neuromonitoring (IOM) team, you will:
- Obtain a detailed medical history and consult with the surgical team about structures at risk and monitoring modalities.
- Monitor and communicate neurophysiologic data and alerts to surgeons and OR staff during cases.
- Display, label, mark, measure, and calculate waveform data (latencies, amplitudes, conduction times) following established protocols.
- Select appropriate monitoring protocols and perform troubleshooting to ensure accurate data collection.
- Complete required documentation, maintain IOM logs, and perform timely file uploads.
- Maintain neuromonitoring equipment and perform routine maintenance checks.
- Perform other duties as assigned while complying with company policies and applicable laws.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree typically required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- CNIM-eligible via one ABRET-defined pathway (e.g., bachelor’s degree, R EEG T or R EP T certification, or graduate of a CAAHEP/NIM IOM program).
- Knowledge of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM), human anatomy & physiology, and/or technical troubleshooting preferred.
- Operating Room (OR) experience is a plus.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills; able to manage competing demands and frequent schedule changes in an OR environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to collaborate with surgeons and surgical staff.
- Able to travel regularly (field-based role) and meet hospital credentialing requirements (including applicable vaccination requirements).
- Eligible for medical malpractice insurance at standard rates (insurance provided by the Confidential Client).
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain CNIM certification.
Travel & Physical Demands
- Travel up to 25% required (field-based role).
- Ability to transport and set up equipment up to ~50 lbs (IONM system, laptop, supplies).
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and wear PPE (gloves, masks, gowns, goggles) as needed during surgery.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
