What You’ll Do
This Entry Level Associate will join a funds operations / accounting team supporting fund-level financial reporting and investor communications. You will work across day-to-day accounting tasks and periodic close activities while learning end-to-end fund operations.
- Prepare and review quarterly financial statements, investor capital account statements, and supporting workpapers
- Reconcile, review, and manage cash balances
- Deliver investor communications via the client’s online investor portal
- Book and review journal entries
- Prepare and send capital call and distribution notices to investors
- Own assigned Fund processes from start to finish and escalate issues as needed
- Assist with annual audit by compiling and providing requested documents to external auditors
- Compile and analyze data for presentation to senior management
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating within a team
- Passed the CPA exam or actively pursuing CPA certification (preferred)
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with accounting systems is a plus
