What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Architecture Designer based in Tarrytown, TX. As an entry-level member of the architecture team you will support project delivery, build technical skills, and contribute to design work under senior supervision. This role is ideal for recent NAAB-accredited architecture graduates who want hands-on experience creating building designs and construction documents.

  • Produce sketches, schematic designs, and architectural drawings using freehand and CAD/BIM tools
  • Develop Revit and AutoCAD models and prepare construction-ready drawings
  • Support senior designers on project deliverables, including details, schedules, and documentation
  • Create presentation graphics and renderings for client reviews and internal design development
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (engineering, landscape, interiors) to coordinate design inputs
  • Assist with performance and energy modeling workflows when required
  • Maintain organized project files and contribute to quality-control reviews
  • Participate in design reviews, client meetings, and project coordination sessions

What We’re Looking For

Minimum qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Portfolio with recent design work demonstrating architectural design and graphic ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with multiple levels of project stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and manage time effectively on multiple tasks
  • U.S. work authorization required

Nice-to-haves / Preferred

  • Active candidate in NCARB’s AXP program
  • GPA ~3.0 or higher (preferred)
  • Proficiency with: Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Photoshop
  • Familiarity with performance modeling tools: Ladybug, Honeybee, EnergyPlus, WUFI
  • Experience with rendering and visualization: V-Ray, Enscape, or similar; and Bluebeam
  • Prior internship or relevant professional experience in architecture or design

Location & Compensation

  • Location: Tarrytown, TX (Austin area). This is an on-site role with collaboration across local project teams.
