Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level Architecture Designer to join their Buildings & Places design team at Charleston Air Force Base, SC. This is a hybrid, full-time role with on-site requirements in Charleston Air Force Base on a scheduled basis. The position supports architectural design tasks under the direction of a supervising architect and offers growth opportunities for candidates early in their architecture careers.

What You’ll Do

You will support project teams by contributing to design development, documentation, and coordination across architectural and engineering disciplines. Typical responsibilities include:

• Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations and preparing supporting data.
• Preparing specifications, reports and relevant data tables.
• Producing, reviewing, and approving drawings and construction documents as assigned.
• Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups and coordinating cross-discipline activities.
• Executing technical assignments of moderate complexity within schedule and budget under supervision.
• Assisting with training and mentorship of junior drafting/design personnel, as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Preferred qualifications:

• Prior internship or related experience is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Master’s Degree in Architecture preferred.

• Primary work location: Charleston Air Force Base, SC (on-site as scheduled).
• Work model: Hybrid — requires regular in-office presence at Charleston Air Force Base.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour (hourly). Final offer will be based on education, experience, and location.
• Benefits (varies by employer and employment status) may include medical, dental, vision, disability, paid time off, retirement savings plans, and other voluntary benefits.
