Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an energetic Entry Level Architect with Security Clearance to join a regional architecture team near Schoolfield, VA. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or designers with up to 1 year of professional experience who have completed an accredited architecture degree and who are pursuing IDP toward licensure. The position emphasizes hands-on design, Revit-based documentation, collaboration with project teams, and professional development.

What You’ll Do

• Work under the supervision of a Project Architect and/or Project Manager to develop design and technical drawings.
• Translate design intent into detailed drawings and documentation using Revit and complementary tools.
• Contribute to design development, schematic and construction documentation, and coordination with engineering disciplines.
• Communicate clearly (written and verbal) with team members and stakeholders.
• Participate in project research, code reviews, and permit submissions as required.
• Support graphic presentation, renderings, and client deliverables as needed.

Responsibilities

• Produce and revise architectural drawings and BIM models using Revit.
• Assist in preparing presentations, renderings, schedules, and specifications.
• Coordinate with internal team members and external consultants.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Apply constructive feedback and take initiative on design or technical tasks.
• Participate in entry‑level program meetings and professional development activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) or Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from an accredited program.
• Minimum of one summer internship with an architectural firm.
• 0–1 year of professional experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong design sensibility, graphic skills, and a desire to develop technical expertise.
• Basic rendering and visualization skills are a plus.
• Active participation in IDP or a clear plan to pursue architectural registration.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance (if applicable) and to work with sensitive project information.

Compensation & Program Info

• Projected salary range: $65,607 - $68,107 annually (range provided by the client; final offer will consider skills, experience, and location).
• This is an entry-level role intended for candidates with 0–1 year of professional experience.
• The entry-level program provides cohort-based professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities to support early career growth.
