About the Role

Confidential Client is a design-focused residential architecture studio based in Great Falls, VA. We specialize in custom estates, luxury renovations, and production residential projects. This entry-level / junior architect role (0–2 years post-graduate) offers hands-on experience across design and construction documentation in a collaborative, in-office studio environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assist senior project architects across schematic design, design development, and construction documentation phases.
• Produce high-quality 3D renderings, visualizations, and presentation graphics for high-end residential projects.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, site plans, and custom architectural details.
• Research local zoning, land‑use, and building codes applicable to Northern Virginia jurisdictions.
• Participate in design reviews, team charrettes, and coordination meetings with consultants and contractors.
• Support project delivery by producing clear, accurate CAD and presentation files for client reviews and permit submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) — graduated within the last 0–2 years.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with 3D modeling and rendering tools (SketchUp preferred).
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) for presentation graphics.
• Strong graphic communication skills, attention to proportion, spatial organization, and residential detailing.
• Motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn residential construction standards and detailing.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
