What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Analytical Scientist to join their laboratory team in Columbia, MO. This hands-on role supports analytical testing, method execution, and data documentation in a regulated lab environment.
- Perform laboratory testing following established methods, protocols, and SOPs
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain analytical instruments, including HPLC and GC systems
- Prepare samples, reagents, standards, and laboratory solutions
- Generate, review, and document scientific data in compliance with GMP and GLP standards
- Collaborate with scientists and lab teams to support product development, quality, and safety
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized laboratory practices
What We’re Looking For
Minimum qualifications and skills required to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
- Ability to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience or coursework using HPLC, GC, or other analytical instrumentation
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP or experience in regulated laboratory environments
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay: $64,039 per year (estimated)
