What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Analytical Chemist to join a night-shift laboratory team. This is an entry-level, hands-on chemistry position supporting Quality, Production, R&D and Compliance/Environmental monitoring. You will perform routine tests, prepare solutions and reagents, maintain lab equipment, and accurately document results under direct supervision.

• Perform routine laboratory procedures: prepare solutions, reagents, samples and testing materials
• Conduct basic analytical tests and follow established SOPs and work instructions
• Observe, collect and record test results and lab data accurately
• Perform routine calculations and compile data for review
• Stock, organize and distribute lab supplies and equipment
• Assemble, clean, and maintain laboratory apparatus and workspaces
• Collect, clean and store glassware and lab equipment properly
• Assist with inventory tracking and sample/compound management
• Support functions across Production, R&D, QC/QA and Environmental Monitoring
• Follow all safety, quality and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements (FDA, OSHA and Confidential Client policies)

Required Qualifications

• Technical diploma, associate degree, or equivalent in Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, Food Science or related technical field preferred
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices, procedures and safety requirements
• Ability to accurately follow written instructions, SOPs and testing protocols
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• Basic mathematical and analytical skills
• Ability to maintain organized records and documentation
• Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and basic computer applications
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment under direct supervision

Compensation & Shift

• Hourly pay: $24.50/hour (posted); base pay range for this role: $19.05 — $38.15 per hour
• Schedule: 12-hour NIGHT shift, 6:00 pm – 6:00 am
• Rotation offers every other weekend off
• Example shift pattern:
  • Week 1: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)
  • Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)
  • Week 3: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)
  • Week 4: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)
