Role summary

Confidential Client is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to evaluate AI-generated media. Contributors perform short evaluations — e.g., live conversational roleplays with AI voice models, image and video comparisons, and written explanations of quality issues — all remotely and on a flexible schedule. This is a 1099 independent-contractor opportunity (remote/telecommute).

Key responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, clarity, and usefulness.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images and videos and select which best follows the prompt.
• Inspect outputs carefully (zoom, replay) to identify issues such as distorted anatomy, flicker, motion artifacts, text errors, or audio–video mismatches.
• Rate outputs on dimensions like adherence, quality, and realism.
• Write concise, evidence-based explanations in clear English describing what you observed and why you made each choice.

Common tasks

• Image evaluations: Compare two generated images for the same prompt and pick the better one; sometimes rank edited vs. original.
• Video evaluations: Rank AI-generated videos or edited videos against source clips.
• Video caption labeling: Segment first-person clips into actions and correct or refine AI-drafted captions.
• Audio and voice evaluations: Rate synthetic speech for naturalness, pronunciation, and voice match; some tasks require short recorded voice explanations.

Ideal qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication and comfortable speaking in everyday conversational style.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and roleplaying realistic situations naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based reviews or explanations.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.

Eligibility & onboarding requirements

• Must be able to provide a valid government ID and a mobile phone from your country of residence.
• Up-to-date resume that highlights relevant skills or experience.
• LinkedIn profile (or equivalent) showing education and work history.
• You must be authorized to work as a freelancer/contractor in your country of residence. Confidential Client does not provide visa sponsorship.

Compensation & payment

• Project work: earn up to USD $15 per hour (rates vary by task, expertise, location, and project).
• Additional incentives: contributors often earn extra via mission-based incentives (average additional ~7.5%; top quartile higher).
• Payments processed weekly (covering the previous pay period), via PayPal, AirTM, or ACH, depending on the project and location.
• Rates for onboarding or non-core work may differ; higher rates may be available for advanced qualifications (e.g., PhD).
