Position Overview
Confidential Client, a leading player in the hospitality industry, is hiring an Entry Level Accounts Receivable to join their finance team in Meadows, NJ. This is a full-time position (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday) offering $23.00 per hour. The role focuses on invoice processing, payment posting, account reconciliation and accurate financial data entry.
What You’ll Do
- Process and generate customer invoices accurately and on time
- Record incoming payments and post them correctly in the accounting system
- Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and investigate discrepancies
- Maintain precise financial records through timely data entry
- Support compliance with company policies and accounting standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and assist with ad hoc accounting tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- Entry-level experience in accounts receivable or accounting support roles
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency with MS Excel; comfortable learning new accounting software
- Good verbal and written communication skills for internal and customer interactions
- Team-oriented, analytical thinker who can problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $23.00 per hour
- Employment type: Full-time
- Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
