What You’ll Do
Launch your accounting career supporting transfer agency and accounting operations. You will help maintain general ledger integrity, prepare financial reports, and support reconciliations and controls used for regulatory and management reporting.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts
- Prepare financial statements and routine accounting reports
- Support automated accounting systems, controls, and process improvements
- Prepare reports for management and regulatory authorities as needed
- Respond to inquiries from management, auditors, and regulators about accounting policies and issues
- Identify, investigate, and resolve exceptions using clear documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience
- 2–3 years of experience in financial accounting or related activities
- Working knowledge of GAAP and accounting/reporting fundamentals
- Strong data analysis skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel required); familiarity with accounting systems preferred
Preferred
- Prior experience with reconciliations and general ledger activities in a financial services or transfer agency environment
- Experience preparing audit schedules or responding to auditor inquiries
- Interest in process improvement and automation for accounting workflows
Work Location & Schedule
Confidential Client requires this role to work from a West Milwaukee, WI location three (3) or more days per week. This is an on-site, full-time role.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $22.50 - $30.00 per hour (hourly range provided by the source). Actual pay will be based on experience, location, and other lawful factors.
