What You’ll Do

This entry-level accounting role is designed to give a recent graduate or early-career accountant broad, hands-on exposure across core accounting functions. You will work with experienced accounting staff and support the month-end close and financial operations.

• Support accounts payable activities: invoice processing, PO matching, vendor reconciliations
• Assist accounts receivable work: billing, cash application, collections, account maintenance
• Monitor outstanding balances and perform follow-up on past-due accounts
• Prepare account reconciliations and assist with month-end close tasks
• Support monthly financial reporting and basic accounting analysis
• Process domestic and international ACH and wire transactions
• Help gather documentation and schedules for external audits
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Collaborate with other departments to maintain accurate financial records
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and controls

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field (recent grads encouraged to apply)
• Internship, co-op, or entry-level experience in accounting, bookkeeping, AP or AR
• Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and accrual accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP and similar functions)
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Clear written and verbal communication and good problem-solving ability
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• QuickBooks or similar accounting software experience
• Prior exposure to reconciliations, billing, or collections
• Experience supporting audits or month-end close activities

Pay & Benefits

• Salary range: $55,000 – $60,000 per year (range reflects experience, skills, and other job-related factors)
• Benefits may include: 401(k) with employer match, healthcare (medical/dental/vision), paid life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, and occasional performance bonuses
• Family-run client — flexible culture, early-out Fridays (4:30 PM) incentive
