What You’ll Do

This entry-level accounting role supports a hotel finance team on a 2–3 month contract. You’ll build hands-on experience across core accounting functions while supporting daily financial operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

  • Support day-to-day accounts payable activities: review invoices, organize payment documentation, and help maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with accounts receivable: monitor outstanding balances, apply payments, and follow up on account activity as needed.
  • Help manage group billing: prepare account information, verify charges, and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Provide accurate, professional customer service for account and billing questions.
  • Update spreadsheets and accounting reports to track transactions and reconcile information.
  • Collaborate with hotel staff and internal stakeholders to ensure financial data is complete, timely, and documented.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills; experience with PivotTables and VLOOKUP preferred.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective written and verbal communication; customer-facing accuracy and professionalism.
