What You’ll Do

This entry-level accounting role provides hands-on experience in core AP/AR and reconciliation tasks while supporting month-end close activities. You will work closely with finance team members and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial records.

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documentation, and help ensure payments are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Assist with customer billing and track incoming payments to maintain current accounts receivable records.
• Perform bank statement reviews and reconcile transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Support balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and record routine journal entries consistent with established accounting procedures.
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams to clarify transaction details and resolve invoice or payment issues.
• Help gather information and update records for month-end close and basic account analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent entry-level accounting training.
• Foundational knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
• Experience (academic, internship, or on-the-job) with bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and preparing accounting entries.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data.
• Basic proficiency with spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel) and familiarity with accounting software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external contacts.
• Ability to organize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Estimated salary: $55,068 per year (estimated).
