Role overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry Level Accountant based in Atlantic Beach, FL. This is a full-time, entry-level accounting role within a large, multi-function finance organization with a structured development program. The role is designed to provide real-world training in financial management and prepare you for progressive accounting responsibilities.


What You’ll Do

As an Entry Level Accountant you will support day-to-day accounting tasks and month-end activities while learning financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance processes.

  • Prepare financial statements and support month-end close
  • Perform branch audit evaluations and assist with audits
  • Assemble bank reconciliations and account schedules
  • Prepare journal entries, expense accruals and allocations
  • Analyze income statement fluctuations and support financial analysis
  • Maintain financial records and assist in financial reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving/process improvement initiatives
  • Assist personnel with accounting policy and procedure questions
  • May support T&E reports, account coding/classification, and reimbursement processing
  • May assist with preparation of sales and other tax returns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, HR, operations, risk, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • Intend to pursue CPA within 1–2 years (flexible) — candidates close to graduation will be considered
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Valid U.S. work authorization required; candidate must not require sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years; no DUI/DWI convictions within the past 5 years (job-related driving requirement)
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a growth mindset

  • Targeted first-year annual compensation: $60,000 (average 40-hour work week)
