What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Account Manager based in Lexington, KY to support sales, customer relationships, and post‑sales coordination for automation and robotics solutions. This is a full‑time, field‑facing role covering the U.S. Eastern region with up to 50% travel.
- Manage and grow existing customers and develop new accounts in an assigned U.S. Eastern territory
- Conduct on-site customer visits for sales, technical consultation, and relationship building
- Prepare and present quotations and proposals including terms, pricing, timelines, and technical details
- Negotiate scope, pricing, and delivery schedules with customers and internal teams
- Coordinate with operations, logistics, and engineering to ensure on-time product delivery and installation
- Support representatives and distributors to implement territory sales strategies
- Conduct market research and forecasting to inform sales plans and identify opportunities
- Produce regular sales reports using MS Excel and the company system; report results to direct manager
- Participate in internal sales meetings and coordinate with international teams as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support customer satisfaction and business goals
Who You Are / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field — or equivalent experience
- 0–3 years of account management, customer service, or outside sales experience preferred (entry level considered)
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% (including travel outside Kentucky)
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working with diverse, multicultural teams and customers
- Highly organized with the ability to multi‑task and manage time effectively
- Team-oriented, detail-conscious, responsible, punctual, and self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and/or warehousing environment; able to lift up to 25 pounds (lift assist available for heavier items) and perform intermittent standing, walking, bending, and stair use

- Estimated base: $82,840 per year (estimate provided by source)
