What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level technical role designed for candidates who want structured training, project experience, and placement support into software or data roles. Responsibilities may include:
- Work on entry-level Java and/or MERN-stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) tasks under mentorship
- Support data and BI activities: data cleansing, SQL queries, basic reporting and visualization
- Contribute to small project features, unit tests and code reviews
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to translate requirements into working code or dashboards
- Learn deployment basics and developer workflows (Git, CI/CD, staging)
- Participate in structured training, resume/project prep, and interview practice provided by the client
Who You Are
Ideal candidates include recent grads, career changers, or those with limited professional experience who are motivated to accelerate into in-demand tech roles.
- Recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics or related field — OR career changers with coursework/projects
- Comfortable learning Java or JavaScript frameworks and applying core CS concepts

Required Skills & Experience
This is an entry-level role. We expect candidates to demonstrate potential through coursework, personal projects, internships, or bootcamp experience.
- Basic knowledge of programming (Java, JavaScript, or Python)
- Some familiarity with web development concepts (HTTP, REST APIs, front-end basics) or database fundamentals (SQL)
- Experience with version control (Git) or willingness to learn immediately
- Coursework or project examples that show applied problem-solving
- Authorization to work in the United States
Nice-to-Have
- Projects using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)
- Python experience for data tasks or scripting
- Knowledge of BI tools or visualization (Tableau, Power BI, matplotlib)

- Primary location: Warrenville, IL (onsite or client-site placements as required)
- Note: some client placements may require travel or work at client offices; exact location will be confirmed during the hiring process.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay: $133,378 per year (estimated). Candidates may see a range of offers depending on client, role, and experience; past examples in similar placements have ranged from approximately $95K–$154K.
- The client provides structured training, mentorship, and job-search support (resume help, interview prep, project guidance). Benefits depend on the specific client placement.
