Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Entry-Level Geospatial / Remote Sensing Analyst (with security clearance) to join a multidisciplinary team in Lake Magdalene, FL. This is a hands-on, early-career role focused on GIS, remote sensing, and elevation data processing for state and federal clients. The position emphasizes technical skill growth, cross-team collaboration, and working with industry-standard tools.

What You’ll Do

• Perform data feature extraction and compilation from imagery, LiDAR and other geospatial sources
• Create digital mapping products using GIS and remote sensing platforms
• Capture, validate and analyze geospatial datasets
• Create, update and manage geodatabases and other spatial data stores
• Process and manipulate elevation data (including LiDAR workflows)
• Support project deliverables for state and federal clients, following client standards and quality-control procedures
• Work in team environments — receive mentoring and contribute to multi-disciplinary project teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, Earth Science, or related field
• 0–3 years of relevant GIS / remote sensing experience (entry-level candidates encouraged)
• Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS (experience with ArcGIS 9x or later)
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Access) and common desktop tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving-record check and background screening
• Must hold or be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance for project work
• At this time, Confidential Client will not sponsor new applicants for work authorization

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SOCET Set and photogrammetric toolsets
• Familiarity with PLTS toolkit workflows
• LiDAR data processing and classification experience
• Experience building and maintaining spatial databases and automated workflows
