What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Enterprise Application Administrator I to provide day-to-day ownership and operational support for a portfolio of business SaaS and line-of-business applications. You will onboard and administer applications, manage licenses and user access, maintain configuration and change records, support audits, and act as the primary operational contact for assigned applications.
- Onboard new or transferred SaaS applications into central administration: confirm business owner, record the app in the master tracker, validate data classification and access model, and complete administrator handover checklists.
- Perform tenant administration: maintain admin roles, authentication settings, tenant-level configuration, and integrations to company standards with least-privilege access.
- Manage licenses: track entitlements, assignments, utilization; reclaim unused licenses; provide accurate license data ahead of renewals.
- Execute user provisioning and deprovisioning via ITSM (ServiceNow preferred) and, where enabled, through SSO/SCIM provisioning (Microsoft Entra ID).
- Plan, test, and implement configuration changes through change management; maintain traceable configuration records.
- Resolve incidents and service requests for assigned apps within SLAs; escalate to vendors when needed and publish knowledge articles to enable Service Desk first-contact resolution.
- Produce recurring reports on application health, access, license usage, ticket volume, and upcoming renewals; keep master tracker records current.
- Coordinate day-to-day technical vendor support, monitor release notes and maintenance, and provide operational input for renewals.
- Monitor SSO certificates, app secrets, and integration credentials and renew them before expiration to prevent outages.
- Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and application records to ensure transferable support coverage.
- Support audit and customer-assurance activities (SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001, PCI DSS, etc.) by producing access listings, change records, and configuration evidence.
- Support application retirement and consolidation: remove access, archive/export data per retention rules, terminate licenses, and update portfolio records.
What You’ll Need (Required)
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, information systems, computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–3 years of IT support, application support, or SaaS administration experience in a business environment.
- Hands-on experience administering at least one business SaaS application (users, roles, permissions, configuration).
- Working knowledge of SSO protocols (SAML, OpenID Connect), MFA, and joiner/mover/leaver lifecycle; exposure to Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience working with an ITSM/ticketing tool (ServiceNow preferred), meeting SLAs, and documenting resolutions.
- Experience tracking license assignments and utilization.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for tracking, reconciling, and reporting operational data.
- Ability to work in a controlled, audited environment: change management, least-privilege access, and documentation discipline.
- Clear, customer-focused written and verbal communication with business users and vendors.
Nice to Have (Preferred)
- Experience in data center, colocation, hyperscale, or other high-availability operating environments.
- Experience in fast-growing or PE-owned organizations.
- Experience configuring SCIM provisioning and enterprise applications in Microsoft Entra ID; familiarity with Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune.
- Broad portfolio administration experience across collaboration, e-signature, project management, design, or LOB SaaS tools.
- Exposure to SaaS management or software asset management tooling and renewal processes.
- Basic scripting/automation (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate) to reduce repetitive tasks.
- Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI.
