What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Engineering Project Analyst to support geotechnical and structural monitoring projects. You will analyze instrumentation data, prepare monitoring reports, and collaborate with field teams and engineers to ensure accurate, timely delivery of monitoring results.
- Analyze and validate monitoring data from instrumentation systems (vibration, displacement, strain, inclinometers, etc.)
- Process and QC data sets; identify anomalies and flag issues for engineering review
- Prepare clear, professional monitoring reports that meet project specifications and engineering standards
- Assist in updating and improving monitoring plans based on field data and client feedback
- Coordinate with project engineers, field technicians, and subcontractors to ensure data integrity
- Communicate findings to clients and internal teams; respond to data-related questions
- Maintain accurate project documentation and support project closeout activities
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in instrumentation data processing, geotechnical/structural monitoring, or related engineering support role preferred
- Proficiency with data processing tools (Excel required; experience with specialized monitoring software is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and proven ability to QC technical data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client interaction
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver on tight deadlines
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Civil/Geotechnical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills & Tools
- Experience with geotechnical/instrumentation systems and sensors
- Familiarity with monitoring plan development and instrumentation installation principles
- Basic understanding of structural and geotechnical engineering concepts
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
- Prior client-facing or field coordination experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range: $24.00/hr - $28.00/hr (Confidential Client provided range; final pay will depend on skills and experience)

- Job location: New York, NY (onsite at Confidential Client’s local office)
